The cover of this useful notebook reproduces a detail of one of the panels of the Altarpiece of the Visitation: Lamentation on the Dead Christ, (ca. 1508-10) executed by Pedro Fernández for the high altar of the church of the eremitani girolamini of Santa Maria delle Grazie Maggiore in Caponapoli. The panels in the Museo di Capodimonte are all that remain in Naples of the altarpiece by this artist.
