If the documentary HSA. A History of the Hispanic Society introduces us, in just over twenty minutes, to the spirit which led Archer Milton Huntington (1870-1955) to found this institution, the CD HSA JAZZ will fully immerse you in the musical world which inundated New York in those golden years at the start of the 20th century. Whilst jazz reigned supreme in the city’s best (and worst) nightclubs, Huntington was making his dream come true by “discovering Spain just as it is and capturing it in a museum”, as he expressed at the time.
