"Patinir" exhibition guide
Official exhibition guide published to accompany the Patinir exhibition which ran from 2 July to 7 October 2007 at the Museo Nacional del Prado. The exhibition focused on Joachim Patinir, who worked in Antwerp from 1515 until 1524 and was the first European painter who specialized in landscape painting. The exhibition gathered 46 paintings of the Flemish master and his most prominent precursors and disciples. The masterpieces where selected by Alejandro Vergara, curator of the exhibition and Chief Curator of Flemish Painting at the Museo Nacional del Prado. Spanish; 47 images; 56 pages; 19x24 cm.
